I'm Scott Jewell, a Senior Product Designer and developer with fifteen years in design. I design and build account, identity, and security experiences used by millions, where trust and clarity are non-negotiable. I ship working, code-backed prototypes and accessible design systems, across healthcare, fintech, and commerce.

The CVS account flow pushed past what shipped, one clear next step on every screen, editing in sheets that keep your place, passkeys ahead of passwords, and every tap below is real.
A native app that lets caregivers manage a loved one's prescriptions from one place, born from a personal caregiving experience and shaped into a modern redesign.

Redesigned the account, profile, and sign-in experience used by millions, with an animated, interactive prototype that recreates the flow screen by screen.
View case studyI worked through Tava's live patient funnel and found signup asking for identity before it answers coverage. I designed and built the fix, a flow that keeps their homepage promise. Answer first, faces second, identity last.

Unlock case studyFounder work means no brief and no handoff. I designed the onboarding, the money movement, and the brand, then shipped them as one person with an AI stack instead of a team.
A money product has to earn a family's trust before it asks them to move a single dollar. Every flow is written in plain language and shows where the money sits at each step.
One green on black system runs the site, the app, and the card. Tokens first, so a solo designer can stay consistent at speed.
Families pay about 99 dollars a year and generate nine million games of data doing it. A Stats and Insights experience I designed and built, returning that data as felt value, sentences a family understands, receipts one tap behind, decisions a coach can defend.
View the workThree working screens I designed and built from evidence in Ibotta's public properties and review platforms. They make receipt rejections, account standing, and appeals explain themselves.

I recommend Jewell without reservation, and I look forward to seeing the impact he will continue to make wherever he goes next. Any team would be lucky to have him.”
From print and visual design into product, I've spent fifteen years learning what makes interfaces feel inevitable: research, clear hierarchy, accessible patterns, and a relentless focus on the person on the other side of the screen.
The developer side of my practice grew at CVS, where the account work meant sitting with engineers, having real conversations about their craft, and learning to speak it. JavaScript coursework and building BagEquity's front end turned that curiosity into a working skill.
Today I design and build for healthcare and fintech, lead 0 → 1 product work, and use AI to ship faster without lowering the bar on trust or craft.
