A native iOS and Android experience that lets caregivers manage their family members' medications from one place. A project born from a deeply personal caregiving experience in my own family.
Here's a modern redesign of the caregiver flow, rebuilt as live UI. A calmer "circle" of the people you care for, clearer medication status, and one tap refills. The original experience follows below. This shows where the design could go next.
This project set out to transform the caregiver experience for CVS Health. A seamless app that lets people effortlessly manage a family member's prescription medications. As the designer, I led the UX, from research through the final interface, with one goal, take the friction out of caring for someone else's health.

This wasn't an abstract brief. It grew out of a personal caregiving experience in my own family. The late night confusion of tracking someone else's prescriptions, refills, and pharmacies. That perspective turned a product problem into a personal mission, and kept the work honest. Every screen had to make a stressful job feel manageable.
Just over two weeks understanding how caregivers actually manage another person's medications. The workarounds, the anxiety, the gaps in the current experience.
Mapped the caregiver's journey and the core jobs, add a family member, see their meds, manage refills and pharmacies, with the right permissions and clarity.
Six weeks designing and refining native iOS/Android flows, pressure testing what worked and openly cutting what didn't.
Partnered with 6 developers and a PM to ship designs that held up in engineering and stayed true to the research.
The result is a calm, legible flow for managing someone else's care. Clear medication lists, refills, and family management designed to reduce cognitive load at an already stressful time.

Designing for caregivers taught me that emotional context is a design constraint. People using this app are often tired, worried, and short on time. The win wasn't a clever interface. It was reducing the number of decisions someone has to make while caring for a person they love. Some early directions didn't work. Cutting them honestly made the final experience stronger.
The caregiver work was designed for one family at a time. What you are watching on the right is the account and sign in experience I designed for millions of members, rebuilt as working software and driving itself through its own guided tour.
