Low fidelity · not for polish review

GameChanger x Stats and Insights
Direction before decoration

I keep this stage deliberately ugly. Its only job is picking the right problem and the right flows before a single pixel gets styled. React to the thinking, not the boxes.

01 · The opportunitywhere my teardown pointed
Working title, Worth every dollar

Families pay about 99 dollars a year, resent the price, and generate nine million games of data doing it. I am designing the insight system that makes the family feel the subscription pay for itself every week, through the coach, the player, and the household.

I did not invent the problem. Price resentment is in their reviews. Demand for deeper stats is in their reviews. The insight surfaces are already shipping. The multi kid clutter complaint is in their reviews. Every claim traces to something public.

02 · The problem in measurable chunksbig problems, small measurable pieces
C1The morning after

The family recap worth opening, sentences first, numbers one tap behind.

recap open rate
C2Decisions with receipts

The coach surface where every suggestion shows its reasoning.

suggestion acceptance
C3The growth ledger

The player's own pride with proof, a season arc, not a stat dump.

profile return visits
C4The household

One digest across kids and seasons for the family that pays the most.

family plan retention
03 · The flowone engine, three readers, four surfaces
Scorekeeper feed9M games a year
Insight enginenumber to sentence, per reader
Family recappush, morning after
Coach cardbefore next practice
Player ledgerin profile, always on
Household digestweekly, multi kid

The rule I hold the whole system to. Every sentence carries its receipt, the raw number is always one tap away, and nothing is shown that the data cannot back.

Decision. Two insights max per recap. The moment it scrolls, it is a stat page and I have lost the reader.

Question. Tone for the player view, encouragement first or evidence first. I want a kid and a parent to gut check this before it moves.

Decision. The household, not the team, is the paying unit. This screen is the family plan's reason to exist.

Push, morning afterThe lead sentence IS the notification

Question. Does the lead insight go in the push notification free, or is the sentence itself the premium hook. A monetization fork I would take to the business before designing further.
05 · Open questions before high fidelityanswer these, then build

Which chunks earn high fidelity first. My call is C1 plus C2, family value plus coach trust.

Is the insight sentence free and the receipt premium, or the reverse. Changes W6 entirely.

How loud should the final piece be. I am leaning a calm product story with two working moments.

Player tone in W4, encouragement first or evidence first.
